Kate Kornberg is a documentary photographer currently living and working in her hometown of Los Angeles. Since receiving her BFA in photography from Pratt Institute, she has been included in various shows and publications, including a 2017 group exhibition at the United Nations. While living in Paris, she worked with the organizations Yahad-In-Unum and Action Yazidis, documenting research trips in Lithuania, Moldova, Romania, Ukraine, Poland, and most recently Iraqi Kurdistan. She currently works with with homeless individuals in Los Angeles, helping them get off the streets and into housing. Kate is drawn to coastlines and boarders, islands and fog, people and spaces that may feel forgotten.
