Madeira is not an island where water meets sand.

Formed by a volcanic eruption, Madeira is jagged, uneven, an island that stretches from sea level to 1,862 meters tall. It is a woven landscape of sharp cliffs and deep valleys, always providing a cinematic view of the vast ocean bowing at its feet and never allowing you to forget your insignificance in comparison to its grandeur.
